A estes investimentos municipais, na recolha e gest\u00e3o de res\u00edduos urbanos, juntam-se os investimentos da ALGAR, respons\u00e1vel pelo tratamento e valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o dos res\u00edduos na regi\u00e3o. At\u00e9 ao momento, foram executados mais de 4 milh\u00f5es de euros, com projetos da ALGAR e dos munic\u00edpios ou empresas municipais, de Faro, Olh\u00e3o, Loul\u00e9, S\u00e3o Br\u00e1s de Alportel, Lagoa, Silves e Vila do Bispo.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estes s\u00e3o investimentos fundamentais para acelerar a transi\u00e7\u00e3o do Algarve para uma economia circular, atrav\u00e9s da preven\u00e7\u00e3o da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de res\u00edduos, do refor\u00e7o da recolha seletiva e da reciclagem, da valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o dos res\u00edduos urbanos como recursos e da redu\u00e7\u00e3o progressiva da deposi\u00e7\u00e3o em aterro. O seu impacto contribui para a descarboniza\u00e7\u00e3o, para a melhoria do desempenho ambiental e qualidade de vida da regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nos Munic\u00edpios, os apoios previstos pelo ALGARVE 2030 abrangem, entre outras a\u00e7\u00f5es, a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de equipamentos e ve\u00edculos para a recolha seletiva de bio res\u00edduos e de outros materiais recicl\u00e1veis, a compostagem dom\u00e9stica e comunit\u00e1ria, o refor\u00e7o e a moderniza\u00e7\u00e3o dos ecocentros, a otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o dos circuitos de recolha e a digitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o dos servi\u00e7os. Estes investimentos visam melhorar os servi\u00e7os prestados \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o, aumentar a separa\u00e7\u00e3o dos res\u00edduos e promover a sua reutiliza\u00e7\u00e3o e reciclagem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por sua vez, os investimentos da ALGAR incidem sobre as infraestruturas de tratamento e valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o de res\u00edduos, incluindo a moderniza\u00e7\u00e3o dos sistemas de triagem, refor\u00e7o da capacidade de valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o de res\u00edduos org\u00e2nicos atrav\u00e9s de compostagem ou digest\u00e3o anaer\u00f3bia e a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais e nutrientes. O objetivo \u00e9 aumentar a quantidade de res\u00edduos valorizados, reduzir a fra\u00e7\u00e3o residual encaminhada para aterro e melhorar a efici\u00eancia ambiental do sistema regional de gest\u00e3o de res\u00edduos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>O desafio passa agora por acelerar a concretiza\u00e7\u00e3o dos investimentos previstos, garantindo que o financiamento dispon\u00edvel se traduz em projetos executados e em resultados efetivos para o territ\u00f3rio. Avan\u00e7ar com as opera\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e9 essencial para refor\u00e7ar a sustentabilidade da gest\u00e3o de res\u00edduos urbanos e contribuir para o cumprimento das metas nacionais e europeias em mat\u00e9ria de prepara\u00e7\u00e3o para reutiliza\u00e7\u00e3o, reciclagem e redu\u00e7\u00e3o da deposi\u00e7\u00e3o em aterro.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A articula\u00e7\u00e3o entre os munic\u00edpios, a ALGAR e a AMAL constitui uma base essencial para mobilizar recursos, superar desafios e concretizar os investimentos de que a regi\u00e3o necessita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A passagem das opera\u00e7\u00f5es previstas \u00e0 fase de execu\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 determinante para alcan\u00e7ar os objetivos definidos para a gest\u00e3o de res\u00edduos no Algarve, nomeadamente aumentar a recolha seletiva, refor\u00e7ar a reciclagem, promover a circularidade dos recursos e reduzir a quantidade de res\u00edduos urbanos
