Nestas duas \u00faltimas categorias, ocupa o primeiro lugar no espa\u00e7o ibero-americano, que engloba Portugal, Espanha, Brasil e os demais pa\u00edses da Am\u00e9rica Latina.\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A classifica\u00e7\u00e3o Q1 insere-se num sistema de quartis utilizado para avaliar revistas cient\u00edficas com base no seu desempenho, especialmente no contexto do SCImago Journal Rank (SJR), uma m\u00e9trica desenvolvida a partir da base de dados Scopus. Este sistema divide o n\u00famero total de revistas de uma categoria em quatro quartis: Q1, Q2, Q3 e Q4. Uma revista classificada em Q1 apresenta um desempenho superior ao de pelo menos 75% das revistas da mesma categoria, o que reflete um elevado impacto cient\u00edfico, frequ\u00eancia de cita\u00e7\u00f5es e rigor no processo de revis\u00e3o por pares, sendo considerada uma refer\u00eancia na sua \u00e1rea.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No caso espec\u00edfico da \u00abTourism &amp; Management Studies\u00bb, a classifica\u00e7\u00e3o Q1 na categoria de &#8220;Cultural Studies&#8221; posiciona-a entre as melhores revistas mundiais nesta \u00e1rea espec\u00edfica, sendo tamb\u00e9m a \u00fanica com esta distin\u00e7\u00e3o em Portugal. Importa referir que as bases de dados mais relevantes para revistas cient\u00edficas s\u00e3o a Scopus e a Web of Science, estando a \u00abTourism &amp; Management Studies\u00bb indexada em ambas.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A revista, de periodicidade trimestral, adota o modelo de acesso aberto diamante, permitindo que autores e leitores publiquem e acedam aos artigos sem quaisquer custos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A equipa editorial e cient\u00edfica da revista \u00e9 composta por cerca de uma centena de doutorados de diversas universidades e pa\u00edses. Os editores, Jos\u00e9 Ant\u00f3nio C.
