Tempos dif\u00edceis de ambos os lados do Guadiana\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O evento re\u00fane especialistas de Portugal e Espanha para refletir sobre o impacto do sismo no sul da Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica e as respostas pol\u00edticas e sociais que se seguiram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O congresso insere-se nas comemora\u00e7\u00f5es dos&nbsp;<strong>250 anos da funda\u00e7\u00e3o de Vila Real de Santo Ant\u00f3nio<\/strong>, um dos projetos urban\u00edsticos mais emblem\u00e1ticos do&nbsp;<strong>iluminismo portugu\u00eas<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A iniciativa pretende explorar&nbsp;<strong>como as sociedades lidaram com a cat\u00e1strofe<\/strong>&nbsp;e de que forma o terramoto&nbsp;<strong>influenciou a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o social, econ\u00f3mica e pol\u00edtica da regi\u00e3o<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Um dos eixos centrais da reflex\u00e3o ser\u00e1 a&nbsp;<strong>hist\u00f3ria ambiental<\/strong>, analisando a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre as popula\u00e7\u00f5es e o meio ambiente ao longo do tempo, especialmente no que toca \u00e0 adapta\u00e7\u00e3o a cat\u00e1strofes naturais.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O congresso ter\u00e1 ainda um&nbsp;<strong>foco educativo<\/strong>, promovendo projetos transfronteiri\u00e7os no ensino da Hist\u00f3ria e incentivando o&nbsp;<strong>pensamento cr\u00edtico dos alunos<\/strong>&nbsp;sobre fen\u00f3menos naturais e suas consequ\u00eancias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Programa e destaques<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As atividades iniciam-se na&nbsp;<strong>sexta-feira, 21 de mar\u00e7o<\/strong>, no&nbsp;<strong>Centro Cultural Ant\u00f3nio Aleixo, em Vila Real de Santo Ant\u00f3nio<\/strong>, com a Assembleia Geral da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Professores de Hist\u00f3ria, \u00e0s&nbsp;<strong>13h00<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A sess\u00e3o de abertura decorre \u00e0s&nbsp;<strong>14h00<\/strong>, seguida de comunica\u00e7\u00f5es sobre a&nbsp;<strong>educa\u00e7\u00e3o hist\u00f3rica e narrativa ambiental<\/strong>&nbsp;(Mar\u00edlia Gago, Universidade do Minho), o&nbsp;<strong>impacto do terramoto no Condado de Niebla<\/strong>(Francisco de la Cruz Garc\u00eda Garc\u00eda) e o&nbsp;<strong>Plano de Restaura\u00e7\u00e3o do Reino do Algarve em Vila Real de Santo Ant\u00f3nio<\/strong>&nbsp;(Andreia Fidalgo, Universidade do Algarve), entre outros temas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No s\u00e1bado,&nbsp;<strong>22 de mar\u00e7o<\/strong>, as confer\u00eancias continuam no mesmo local, abordando&nbsp;<strong>os desafios naturais e respostas adaptativas das comunidades costeiras<\/strong>&nbsp;(Manuel Costa Pereira, Instituto Superior T\u00e9cnico) e a&nbsp;<strong>representa\u00e7\u00e3o de cat\u00e1strofes naturais no cinema<\/strong>&nbsp;(Elsa Mendes, Plano Nacional de Cinema). A manh\u00e3 termina com uma&nbsp;<strong>visita de estudo a Vila Real de Santo Ant\u00f3nio<\/strong>, guiada pelo historiador&nbsp;<strong>Fernando Pessanha<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante a tarde, o congresso prossegue no&nbsp;<strong>CIT Garum, em Isla Cristina<\/strong>, com comunica\u00e7\u00f5es sobre&nbsp;<strong>o urbanismo pombalino<\/strong>&nbsp;(Miguel Monteiro de Barros, Universidade NOVA) e os&nbsp;<strong>efeitos do maremoto de 1755 no litoral de C\u00e1dis<\/strong>&nbsp;(Francisco Aparicio Florido, Universidad de C\u00e1diz).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No&nbsp;<strong>domingo, 23 de mar\u00e7o<\/strong>, o CIT Garum recebe apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es sobre&nbsp;<strong>o terramoto de 1755 no Estreito de Gibraltar<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>as implica\u00e7\u00f5es da cat\u00e1strofe no patrim\u00f3nio natural e cultural<\/strong>&nbsp;e&nbsp;<strong>a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre Isla Cristina e o mar<\/strong>.
