O Festival da Sardinha, promovido pelo Munic\u00edpio de Portim\u00e3o desde 1985, lidera a lista dos 25 melhores eventos gastron\u00f3micos de ver\u00e3o na Europa, elaborada pelo conhecido site de viagens Big 7 Travel e agora divulgada, levando em considera\u00e7\u00e3o as sugest\u00f5es do p\u00fablico, bem como as contribui\u00e7\u00f5es da pr\u00f3pria equipa editorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Segundo os respons\u00e1veis por esta lista (dispon\u00edvel em https:\/\/bigseventravel.com\/25-of-the-best-summer-food-festivals-in-europe\/<\/a>), para al\u00e9m da boa sardinha assada, de outros petiscos t\u00edpicos e da anima\u00e7\u00e3o, com relevo para a m\u00fasica ao vivo, o festival portimonense tamb\u00e9m permite aos visitantes conhecerem os costumes e tradi\u00e7\u00f5es locais, nomeadamente atrav\u00e9s da reconstitui\u00e7\u00e3o hist\u00f3rica da descarga da sardinha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Na \u00faltima edi\u00e7\u00e3o antes da pandemia, realizada em 2019, o Festival bateu recordes, atraindo \u00e0 zona ribeirinha de Portim\u00e3o cerca de 100 mil visitantes em cinco dias, o que esgotou em v\u00e1rias ocasi\u00f5es a quantidade de sardinha dispon\u00edvel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A edi\u00e7\u00e3o deste ano ter\u00e1 lugar de 3 a 7 de agosto e ser\u00e1 antecedida mais uma vez pela reconstitui\u00e7\u00e3o da descarga de peixe, marcada para 2 de agosto, proporcionando uma viagem ao passado, com trajes, dizeres e meios de transporte de h\u00e1 algumas d\u00e9cadas, e que culminar\u00e1 numa grande sardinhada popular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante os cinco dias do maior evento gastron\u00f3mico de ver\u00e3o que se realiza no sul do pa\u00eds, a sardinha assada no p\u00e3o voltar\u00e1 a ser rainha, acompanhada pela batata cozida e pela salada \u00e0 algarvia, servida nos diversos restaurantes da zona entre pontes e nas barraquinhas das associa\u00e7\u00f5es e clubes locais, que disponibilizam mais de mil lugares sentados para degustar este ex-libris gastron\u00f3mico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toda a zona ribeirinha, entre o Museu de Portim\u00e3o e a antiga Lota, estar\u00e1 repleta de motivos de interesse, do artesanato \u00e0 do\u00e7aria, com muita anima\u00e7\u00e3o de rua e m\u00fasica, merecendo destaque os artistas nacionais que passar\u00e3o pelo palco principal: Jo\u00e3o Leote e Marisa Liz (dia 3); David Fonseca (dia 4); B\u00e1rbara Tinoco (dia 5); Wet Bed Gang (dia 6); e David Carreira (dia 7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
